Every package also includes our No-Risk Guarantee: if we can’t deliver the service you’ve selected, you can walk away without paying a penny.
Fixed Wireless Broadband delivers fast, reliable internet using a small receiver installed on your property, which connects wirelessly to one of our nearby transmitter sites. Instead of relying on old copper cables buried in the ground, the connection travels over the air — giving you the speed and reliability of modern broadband, even in rural areas where traditional infrastructure can’t reach.
The receiver we install is small and discreet — typically smaller than a TV satellite dish — and it connects directly to your home router to provide internet access throughout your house.
Site survey: On the day of installation, one of our engineers will visit your property to find the best spot for the receiver — usually on a wall, roof edge, or existing pole with a clear line of sight to one of our transmitters.
Receiver installation: We mount the small receiver securely and run a neat, weatherproof cable into your home.
Router setup: Inside, we connect the cable to your router and test your speeds to make sure everything’s working perfectly.
You’re online: The whole process usually takes around 2 hours, and you’ll be online before we leave.
✅ Faster and more reliable than copper broadband — no long copper lines slowing down your connection.
✅ Blazing fast for most users — With speeds of up to 500mbps in some areas, Wireless broadband has all the speed most customers could ever need
✅ More consistent than satellite broadband — no large dishes, no high latency, and no weather-related slowdowns.
✅ Quick to install — no digging, cabling, or waiting for infrastructure work.
✅ Upgradable — if Full Fibre broadband becomes available in your area, you can switch easily through our Full Fibre Promise.
Full Fibre Broadband — sometimes called Fibre to the Premises (FTTP) — is the gold standard of internet connectivity. Instead of using old copper phone lines, a dedicated fibre optic cable runs all the way from the network directly into your home, delivering data at the speed of light.
This means you get incredibly fast speeds, instant responsiveness, and exceptional reliability, whether you’re working from home, streaming in 4K, gaming, or running a business.
We provide Full Fibre connections in two ways:
On our own network:
In areas where we’ve built and manage the fibre network ourselves, one of our local engineers will visit your home to carry out the installation. We handle everything in-house so you’ll be online and ready to go before we leave.
On the Openreach network:
In some locations, your Full Fibre service will be delivered using Openreach’s national fibre network. An Openreach engineer will carry out the physical work, but our team will make sure it all goes smoothly and you’re supported at every step.
✅ Blazing-fast speeds — enjoy up to 900 Mbps for smooth streaming, gaming, and working from home.
✅ Ultra-low latency — perfect for video calls, cloud backups, and online gaming.
✅ Exceptional reliability — fibre isn’t affected by distance, weather, or interference.
✅ Future-proof technology — built for the next generation of connected homes.
✅ Local expertise and support — whether it’s on our network or Openreach’s, our friendly local team handles everything for you.
Our engineer will arrive at your property and carry out a quick site check before starting work. For Fixed Wireless installations, we’ll fit a small receiver on your home and connect it to your router indoors. For Full Fibre installations, a new Fibre-Optic cable will be brought into your haome, etiher underground or via a telegraph pole. This will be connected toa fibre termination box called an ONT. You'll receive a new WiFi 6 Router to plug into that ONT and you'll be online.
Yes — someone aged 18 or over must be present during the appointment. Whoever is home needs to be able to make decisions about the installation, such as where equipment or cables will be fitted.
Yes — we’ll need access to two nearby power sockets: one for your router and one for the connection equipment (receiver or fibre terminal).
In most cases, yes — a small, neat hole will be drilled through an external wall to bring the cable inside. We always seal and weatherproof any entry points to protect against water ingress and maintain a tidy finish.
In almost all cases, installations are included in your setup. If any extra work or costs are required (for example, long cable runs or special access), we’ll explain these clearly in advance and only proceed once you’ve agreed.
Our advertised speeds are guaranteed on wired connections (devices connected directly to your router with a cable). Wi-Fi performance can vary depending on your home’s layout, building materials, and nearby devices — but we’ll always help you get the best results possible.
Yes. Your monthly price is fixed for the duration of your contract, with no mid-contract price rises or hidden fees. What you sign up for is exactly what you’ll pay.
Unlike most providers, our support team is based right here in Aberdeen. You’ll always speak to local people who know your area, your connection type, and the challenges rural networks can face — so you get fast, personal, and knowledgeable help every time.
If you ever experience an issue with your connection, please get in touch — we’re here to help.
We’ll always do our best to resolve any issue quickly and keep you informed along the way.
